She also holds certifications as a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) through The Greater Women’s Business Council and The United States Small Business Administration. Gerry Pounds is the President of Inception Energy Solutions, bringing over 25 years of invaluable experience in the construction industry. As President, Gerry leads with a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of the construction field, ensuring that Inception Energy Solutions delivers exceptional results. Amanda Dobbs - Controller
Amanda is the Controller and handles all the accounting functions for Inception Energy Solutions. She has been working in the accounting field for over 13 years. She is a 2014 graduate of Keller Graduate School with a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management and, in 2019, she became a Certified Management Accountant. She lives with her dog, ZoeBelle, and enjoys photography, reading and crafting in her spare time.
Tyler Hayes - Vice President - Operations
Tyler Hayes has over 15 years of experience in all phases of Substation Transmission Construction. Leadership, Developmental Training, and Strategic Direction skills have allowed him to lead his team to success in the power utility industry. He holds a proven history of project completion without accidents and injuries which has allowed him to lead his teams to success each day. Tyler keeps his team close and efficient by maintaining a family mindset and teaching his team members the shared knowledge gained, from his years of being active within the industry. With his strong mindset and dedicated team with the same goals to grow and amplify the company, there is no other option but success for everyone with, Inception Energy.
Brody Doss - Manager of Operations - Switchboard Wiring & Business Development
Brody is the Manager of Operations for our Switchboard Wiring division. Brody is a proud Bremen High School alumni. With 12 years in the electrical trade, he brings experience and leadership qualities to lead his team to the highest standard. Brody’s round the clock dedication to making sure his hardworking ethics are what his department provides the utility customers they work for each day boasts a successful track record. He provides the knowledge and managing capabilities in all aspects of our Switchboard Wiring/ Protection and Controls division. Brody lives in Tallapoosa, Ga where he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, hunting, fishing, and spending days on the lake.
Dylan Pearson - Safety Director
Dylan is the Field Safety Manager for Inception Energy Solutions. Dylan is a proud alumni of Bremen High School. Dylan's military service and construction background, instilled safety as top priority. Dylan is responsible for training employees in safety related topics and qualifications, he sets a high standard for all IES employees. Dylan's dedication to the safety of each employee is unwavering. Dylan provides a strong leadership and knowledge to ensure a safe and professional job site.
Alaina Pounds - Executive Assistant
Alaina is the Executive Assistant at Inception Energy Solutions. She graduated in 2023 with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Technology. With 4 years of experience in the office in the Utility Construction business, she brings expertise to ensuring the office runs smoothly. Outside of work, she is happily married to her husband Clint, and she enjoys reading, playing with her dogs Maverick & Maggie, and spending quality time with family.
